I pass by you in the daffodils in my mind and I know that you want to think about me wanting to think about you all the time. And sometimes of the times, most of the times I do. And sometimes I stop and smell the daffodils in my mind and I get lost somewhere between here and there but no matter where I am I am always here. Still, you are always there. No matter how close we are we can never be one. So what is this extended distance but distance that has been extended? Inches or miles, you will never be me and I will never be you. We cannot be one and that is great with me because I love you for you not for me. You may love roses and I have daffodils in my mind. So as the music slows and no light can pass between us, we can come together but that is all we can ever do. All we can ever be is together and we can never be any closer than that. So if you want to think that I want to think about you all the time I will tell you to follow what you want because that is what I want and I am doing what I want and all I want is to be with you because I know that I will never be you.
